BRIGHTON, Ala. ( WIAT ) — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office arrested an individual after a chase that ended in a crash on Thursday.
The agency reports that a pursuit ended at the intersection of Huntsville Avenue and 48th Street in Brighton. The driver was taken into custody and later transported to UAB Hospital. A passenger is currently still at large, according to authorities.
No further information was released. It is unknown if the incident is connected to a pursuit in Midfield that happened on Thursday , which also ended in a crash.
