Our Bright Spot shines on long-time Rochester firefighter James Buonaugurio, retiring after 37 years of service. Buonaugurio’s first shift was on May 1, 1987. He spent his entire career at the North Goodman station, and inspired his three sons to live a life of service. One is a fellow firefighter, another is working to get into the fire academy, and a third is a state trooper.
