LUBBOCK, Texas — Gary Wayne McMillian, 54, a former Texas Department of Public Safety captain, was arrested on Thursday and charged with two counts of Indecency with a Child, Sexual Contact.
DPS said McMillian was suspended on Thursday following his arrest by the Texas Rangers.
McMillian started with DPS in 2003 and was stationed in Lubbock, the agency said.
As of Thursday evening, McMillian remained at the Lubbock County Detention Center on a $50,000 bond.
