In a successful operation over the weekend, a 67-year-old hunter was rescued from the dense foliage of Gourdneck State Game Area in Portage. Employing advanced technology, Portage Public Safety Police and Fire personnel were able to locate the individual by integrating the use of drones with cellphone GPS data.
