KAILUA (HawaiiNewsNow) – A Kailua man has filed a lawsuit against state transportation officials, claiming that a raised crosswalk has caused damage to his home. The state installed the crosswalk on Kailua Road at Uluoa Street about two years ago. There’s no doubt that it slows traffic and increases pedestrian safety.
