Review: This new restaurant in Strongsville, Ohio offers delicious noodles and other great food

When I heard that Honeygrow was opening a new location in Strongsville, I was intrigued. A restaurant that offers customizable stir-fry bowls with freshly made noodles? Sounds good to me!

I was lucky enough to snag a ticket for a soft opening event that gave guests a $15 meal voucher. At the restaurant (which is located at 17830 Royalton Rd), I placed my order via a kiosk–a stir-fry bowl with egg white noodles, garlic butter, steak, broccoli, mushrooms, crispy onions, and sesame seeds.

A few minutes later, my stir-fry bowl was ready. The egg white noodles were great and cooked al dente, so they had a nice chew to them and weren’t at all mushy. They went well with the garlic butter sauce, which was tasty (but a warning–if you decide to get the garlic butter, you might want to pop a mint afterward because the garlic was very much present). All of the veggies were fresh as was the steak, though I did wish for more of both.

I washed down my noodles with strawberry guava lemonade and dark cherry punch. Both drinks were refreshing. The lemonade was just sweet enough with a bit of pleasant tartness, and I liked the dark cherry punch even more. It was sweeter, and unlike many cherry-flavored things, it tasted like real cherries instead of having that artificial flavor that’s like cough medicine.
