Carroll’s Larkins, Warsaw’s Peterson finish in top 10 at IHSAA Girls Golf State Finals

CARMEL, Ind. (WANE) – Carroll’s Taylor Larkins and Warsaw’s Abbey Peterson were among the top performers in the state during this weekend’s State Finals at Prairie View Golf Club.

Larkins finished in a tie for ninth place after shooting 1-under par on Saturday. The junior earned a 2-day total of 8-over par to tie with Southmont’s Addison Meadows and Westfield’s Kelsey Haverluck.

Peterson finished with a 2-day total of 7-over par to tie for seventh place with East Central’s Rowan Pies.

Meanwhile, Zionsvill’es Taylor Snively won the individual medal with an even score of 144 over the 2-day meet.

Homestead had the best team finish from northeast Indiana, sitting in 11th place. Zionsville won the team state title with a score of 627 (+51).
