(Omaha, NE) — One person is under arrest after a fatal hit-and-run accident involving a pedestrian this past week. Omaha Police say 89-year-old Walter Tighe was Crossing Center Street near 34th Street Tuesday morning around 7:30 a.m., when he was struck by a vehicle. Tighe was later declared dead at the scene.
