Avelo Airlines announced exciting new nonstop routes from the Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport (STS) to Salt Lake City, Utah, and Ontario, California, starting this fall. With fares as low as $51 one-way, travelers can now book flights for convenient and affordable trips through Avelo’s website.
Starting October 10, Avelo will operate flights from STS to Ontario International Airport (ONT) twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays, followed by the launch of service to Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) on October 24. The routes will utilize Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft, enhancing travel options for Bay Area residents.
Avelo Airlines CEO Andrew Levy expressed enthusiasm for the expansion, highlighting the airline’s commitment to providing more travel choices for Sonoma County. Airport Manager Jon Stout praised Avelo’s continued growth at STS, noting the significance of adding these popular destinations to the airport’s offerings.
Avelo also extended its West Coast flight schedule through early January 2025, making it easier for customers to plan holiday and winter travel.
