Pedestrian dies after being hit by car in multi-vehicle Rogersville crash

GREENE COUNTY, Mo. — The Rogersville Police Department (RPD) is reporting that a pedestrian has died from injuries suffered in a crash involving two vehicles at the intersection of State Highway 125 and Farm Road 186 Friday morning.

According to RPD, the pedestrian was putting out a sign and was waving on an eastbound Toyota Camry stopped at the intersection on Farm Road 186 to cross. Then, a northbound Lexus SUV on Highway 125 was traveling down the hill near the intersection and did not stop in time before crashing into the Camry, causing the Camry to hit a fence.

The collision caused the Lexus SUV to propel off the road, striking the pedestrian northeast of the intersection.
