Veterans of war honored in Washington D.C. and in Anchorage

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – The Last Frontier Honor Flight organization brought veterans from across Alaska to the nation’s capital this week, honoring their service. Last Frontier Honor Flights, one of several U.S. organizations providing veterans with honor flight opportunities, returned from their 19th journey to Washington D.C. Saturday afternoon. After leaving Ted Stevens International Airport Tuesday, veterans from multiple combat eras toured memorials erected in their honor and spent time with other vets.
