Louisiana OJJ opens new juvenile resource center in Lafayette

A new center aimed at helping teens and their families not to become statistics is now open in Acadiana. The Louisiana Multi-Agency Resource Center is geared to assist families so their children don’t become juvenile offenders. The center provides services for at-risk youth rather than the court system or jail. OJJ said Lafayette was chosen for the pilot program because of recent increases in juvenile crime.
