Chandler is the third-safest city in Arizona and ranks 46th for safety among 182 municipalities nationwide, according to a new survey. In Arizona, Chandler is behind first-in-state Gilbert (ranked 31st in the nation) and Scottsdale (ranked 39th nationally) in the survey by the financial website wallethub.com, which based the ranking on 41 datasets divided among three categories – home and community safety, natural disaster risk and financial safety.
