The City of Avondale Police Department held a dedication ceremony for its new state-of-the-art Public Safety Detention Center, located at 50 N. Eliseo C. Felix, Jr. Way. A ribbon-cutting ceremony, attended by Mayor Kenn Weise, members of the Avondale City Council, and city leadership took place Tuesday, Oct. 1, marking the completion of this modern facility.
