Judge denies bond for Gulf Breeze doctor in pill mill case, citing community safety

SANTA ROSA COUNTY, Fla. — The Gulf Breeze doctor accused of operating a pill mill will not have a chance to bond out of jail. On Wednesday, a Santa Rosa County judge ordered doctor Elaine Sharp to be held without bond. There are no conditions in which she can be released that would guarantee the safety of our community, according to Judge Clifton Drake. The 74-year-old faces more than 50 charges, including two counts of murder.
