LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – A new statewide effort to end gun violence is finally getting off the ground. Members of Michigan’s Gun Violence Prevention Task Force sat down for their first meeting Monday. The group is following through on an executive order signed by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer in early 2024.
