WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said a man was shot and killed in Southeast D.C. on Wednesday afternoon.
Police said officers went to the 4200 block of 6th St. near the Cascade Park Apartments for a shooting. There, they found a man who had been shot.

The man was taken to the hospital but was not conscious or breathing.
He died there.
