WILLIAMSBURG – POLICE ARE SEARCHING for a group of at least four individuals suspected in three late-night Williamsburg robberies in August and September. The reported incidents include a mugging at Broadway and Halsey Street on Aug. 18, in which a 28-year-old man was threatened with stabbing and robbed by three people; an attack at Broadway and Goodwin Place on Aug. 25, where a 21-year-old man was robbed by four people and punched in the face; and an assault at Broadway and Kosciuszko Street on Sept. 18, in which two boys, ages 11 and 13, were robbed by four people, who pistol-whipped the 11-year-old and punched and kicked the 13-year-old before stealing their backpacks. Both boys were transported to Maimonides Medical Center after the assault. The sought individuals are described as males with dark complexions.
