L.A. Firefighters Quench Blaze in Vacant Mid-Wilshire Building, No Injuries

A structure fire that erupted in a vacant commercial building in the Mid-Wilshire area was fully extinguished by the efforts of the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) on October 23rd. According to an LAFD alert, it took 49 firefighters approximately 43 minutes to tackle the heavy flames that had consumed the building at 1023 S Crenshaw Bl. The site was no stranger to fire, having previously been involved in a similar incident. Thankfully, no injuries were reported during the operation. Details about the cause of the fire are currently under investigation.
