DUNEDIN – There are many employees of Dunedin Fire Rescue who could be named firefighter of the year, stemming from their actions during the recent hurricanes, Fire Chief Jeff Parks said. The award was presented to firefighter/paramedic Derek Currier during the City Commission meeting Oct. 15 for other reasons.
