Trooper acquitted on charges of tackling, involuntarily committing girlfriend to hospital

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa (WHP) – A Pennsylvania State Police trooper has been acquitted of charges related to the false imprisonment and assault of a former girlfriend. In September of 2023, Ronald Keith Davis, then 37, of Williamstown, was arrested following an investigation that revealed he allegedly tracked down his girlfriend, tackled her, and had her committed to a mental health facility after he claimed she was suicidal,according to court documents.
