North Carolina man extradited to Virginia faces charges in 11-year-old double homicide

ROCKY MOUNT, Va. ( WFXR ) – For over a decade the Office of the Sheriff has made developments in a homicide case that heavily impacted the community.

On Wednesday, October 23, Duncan was extradited to Franklin County and appeared before a General District Court on Thursday morning. He was provided a court-appointed attorney and is currently being held without bond.

43-year-old Daniel Elmood Duncan was taken into custody in North Carolina on October 4, and charged with two counts of Murder and two counts of Use or Display Firearm in the Commission of a Felony.
