Southeast Texas dealing with strong storms on Halloween

HOUSTON , Texas ( KIAH ) – Strong storms have been bringing numerous lightning strikes, as well as heavy rain and gusty winds, to parts of Southeast Texas this morning. In fact, the National Weather Service has issued a flood advisory for Fort Bend County until 12:30pm this afternoon, for flooding of urban and small streams.

More rain is expected through the afternoon as a cold front approaches the area. However, the good news is that most of the rain should have fallen by sunset, just in time for all the trick-or-treaters heading out tonight.
