Early morning residents of Long Beach’s Daisy Avenue awoke to the echoes of gunfire, bringing an unexpected and alarming start to their day. The Long Beach Police Department reported that on Friday, at about 4:50 a.m., officers rushed to the 1100 block of Daisy Avenue after receiving reports of gunshots.
