On Sunday, April 27, 2025, an unidentified white male riding a bicycle was killed in a collision with a vehicle on the Eastex Freeway service road.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division, the incident occurred in the 13900 block of the southbound service road. John Baldwin was driving a 2014 Kia Soul southbound in the number two lane. The bicyclist was also traveling southbound in the same block.
Investigators determined that the bicyclist failed to yield the right of way to the Kia, resulting in the collision. The bicyclist was found at the scene with no signs of life due to the injuries sustained…
