JACKSON, Miss. ( WJTV ) – Jackson Police Chief Joseph Wade and the Office of Violence Prevention hosted a Stop the Violence March and Rally on April 26.
Officials said violence among Jackson’s youth has been at an all-time high. Keisha Coleman, executive director of the Office of Violence Prevention, said that amplifying the voices of the youth within the community is important for conveying the message that violence is not okay.
