NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — Troopers warned that multiple lanes of an interstate were closed as crews worked a crash that damaged a recently repaired overpass.
The two right lanes of I-26 west were closed to traffic after equipment that was being transported hit the Eagle Drive overpass, near mile marker 210. The South Carolina Department of Transportation has also closed the Eagle Drive overpass itself, according to North Charleston Police.
Troopers advised motorists to find alternate routes and expect delays.
