Sparks City Council member Joe Rodriguez was fired Feb. 25 from his job as Nevada’s fire marshal following his arrest on suspicion of DUI.
Rodriguez was appointed in September as fire marshal, one of the state’s top public safety positions. He had been on administrative leave since his Feb. 21 arrest.
