Magna neighbors demand improvement on unpaved road after deadly teen crash

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (KUTV) — A 15-year-old girl was killed, and four other teens, including the driver, were injured after a vehicle carrying nine students rolled over on an unpaved road near Cyprus High School.

The crash happened near 4100 South 8400 West in West Valley City, just south of the border with Magna. West Valley Police said the teens, who range in age from 15 to 17, had left campus during their lunch period and were traveling east on the dirt road when they lost control. The vehicle rolled and crashed into a rock pile.

Neighbors who live steps away said they have long worried about speeding along the unfinished stretch…
