EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – CenterPoint Energy kicked off its spring-summer Community Connect event schedule in Evansville Wednesday, drawing customers with questions about billing, meter monitoring and the ongoing Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC) investigation.
Customer Hugh Crowe came to the event with his mother to ask about her bill.
“We were trying to first see why her bill was so high and he did an excellent job of explaining it,” Crowe said. “One of the reasons that they said was because of the weather between last year and this year. The temperature was a lot lower this year and then also not was it just lower but we were stuck in the house for longer periods of time.”…
