Reward offered for information on dog found with burns, smelling of gasoline

ELIZABETH, Ind. (WISH) — A humane society in Harrison County is asking for the public’s help identifying a dog who died on March 6 after being found suffering severe burns days earlier.

The River Valley Humane Society released the request to social media the day of the dog’s passing.

The black-and-white dog, renamed Phoenix by humane society staff, was found in Elizabeth with “burns and the smell of gasoline across his body.”…
