The City of Framingham is accepting applications for its third annual Hometown Heroes banner program, which honors local veterans by displaying their banners along city streets. The program is a collaboration between the city and the Framingham Veterans Council, according to a community announcement.
Banners each feature a photograph, along with the name and branch of service for each veteran, celebrating their service during wartime or peacetime. A maximum of 75 banners will be installed.
