GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Emily Zoladz knew something was wrong with her son, Isaac, when the then-6-year-old began limping up the stairs. He had been sick with a fever for a few days when she realized something bigger than a cold or flu may be at play.
“Kiddos, if there’s no injury, shouldn’t really be limping. So the limping paired with the fever, I was like, maybe it’s aches and pains,” she told News 8.
