Escambia County Fire Rescue responded to a residential fire in the 1600 block of Cedrus Lane in Ferry Pass at 11:35 a.m. on Tuesday, March 17. Crews found heavy smoke coming from the roof of a single-story home and located a fire on the back porch that had spread into the attic.
Firefighters brought the blaze under control by 12 p.m. The home sustained significant attic and water damage, but it can be repaired. No injuries or fatalities were reported.
