KEARNS, Utah (ABC4) — One person was critically injured after being shot in Kearns, with several suspects at large. Additionally, local schools were placed on secure protocol.
Sergeant Aymee Race, with the Unified Police Department (UPD), says that at around 1:30 p.m., they received reports of an individual with gunshot wounds in the area of 4067 W 4865 S in Kearns. When they arrived, they found an individual, who has only been identified as an adult at this time, had been shot multiple times and was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
Multiple agencies are on scene and actively investigating the incident. According to Sergeant Race, they are still looking for two suspects, both believed to be Hispanic males who are approximately 20 years old.
One of the suspects is believed to be wearing a white shirt and dark bottoms. The other is likely wearing a blue top and blue shorts. Police believe they went eastbound towards 4015 W from the incident…
