HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – The woman accused of using a fake sword to steal a Chandler Police cruiser and leading authorities on a chase from Warrick County to Daviess County, Kentucky, has been sentenced in a different case after accepting a plea deal.
Nina Devillez accepted a plea deal in Lawrence County, and was sentenced to 439 days in jail, with credit for 329 days served. As part of the plea agreement, Devillez plead guilty to battery with a deadly weapon, and the court dismissed charges of attempted murder, aggravated battery, criminal confinement while armed with a deadly weapon, criminal confinement resulting in serious bodily injury, criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon and pointing a firearm at another person.

The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office reported Devillez was arrested following an investigation into a shooting in 2024.
