Firefighters: No one injured in Grand Rapids house fire

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A home caught fire in Grand Rapids Friday night, firefighters say.

Calls were placed to a home on Plainfield Avenue NW at around 7:17 p.m. and firefighters arrived shortly after and found flames coming from the basement, according to the Grand Rapids Fire Department.

The flames were put shortly after. No one was home at the time of the fire and no one was injured…
