EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – The Vanderburgh County Commissioners and Mayor Stephanie Terry are warning the public of a scam targeting individuals and businesses involved in the Site Review process through the Area Plan Commission.
According to a press release, scammers are using publicly available information from APC filings, including applicant names, email addresses and project details, to pose as representatives of the Area Plan Commission.
