BRIDGEPORT, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Emergency personnel responded to a home that exploded and caught fire in Bridgeport, Tuesday night, March 24.
A fire and explosion at a house on Areopagitica Ave. was reported at about 6:56 p.m., according to Onondaga County 911. Video sent to NewsChannel 9 shows the home exploding, with a man — identified by New York State Police as 41-year-old Mark Smith — on fire running out of the building afterwards…
