MINOA, N.Y. — The annual Teal Ribbon Run and Walk was held on Saturday at Lewis Park. It was the 18th annual event to raise awareness for ovarian cancer, as well as celebrate survivors and those who have passed due to the disease.
The awareness event is held by the organization, Hope for Heather. This organization was made in honor of 24-year-old Heather who passed away due to ovarian cancer. The foundation is all about raising awareness and money for research.
