CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Nearly three paychecks missed, and counting. TSA officers affected by the partial federal government shutdown are turning to the Charlotte community for help making ends meet.
Joshua Santos, a lead TSA officer at Charlotte Douglas International Airport, stopped by the Billy Graham Library parking lot on Wednesday for a free lunch.
“This is my third time,” Santos said. “Last time, I came a few times. I live with my family, so I’m more squared away than others.”
