GREENE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A 45-year-old man was killed in a crash on Route 33 in Greene County on Thursday when he swerved and hit another vehicle.
At 5:37 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, troopers with the Virginia State Police were called to Spotswood Trail on U.S. Route 33 for a reported crash — about one mile east of Skyline Drive.
Police said an initial investigation shows that a 2004 Chrysler Sebring, driven by 45-year-old Samuel Cordova, of Harrisonburg, was traveling east on Spotswood Trail and trying to overtake another vehicle when it crossed into the westbound lane…
