Ocala woman claims $100,000 prize from lottery ticket bought at Publix

The Florida Lottery has identified an Ocala woman who claimed a $100,000 lottery prize from a winning ticket that she purchased at a local Publix.

Chesley Andrew Ellis Jr., of Ocala, claimed the top prize for the Fantasy 5 midday drawing held on Thursday, March 26. The state identified the winner last Friday, March 27.

Ellis’s winning QuickPick ticket was sold at the Publix located at 8075 SW Highway 200, Unit 111, in Ocala. The retailer is situated in the Canopy Oak Center, next to the On Top of the World retirement community.
