ARCHER, Fla. – Dajuan Lee Myhand, 22, of Micanopy, was arrested yesterday after deputies responding to a crash in Archer determined that he had stolen the crashed vehicle.
At about 11:43 a.m. on April 28, Alachua County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a crash in the 6700 block of SW 170th Street in Archer and learned that the crashed vehicle, a 2017 Kia Niro, had been reported stolen earlier that morning. The owner of the car reportedly said that the vehicle had been parked in her driveway in Micanopy, and nobody had permission to drive it; she said the key fob for the vehicle had been left in the glove box because the car did not work properly and had to be jump-started…
