Amazon shares update on Little Rock facility after November closure over safety flaws

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Amazon officials have shared a short update on the reopening progress of a facility near the Port of Little Rock after its closure late last year.

A spokesperson with Amazon stated that there is still no opening date for their LIT1 facility after it was shut down temporarily in November.

“We’re currently working through updated building designs and staying in constant communication with our partners at the city of Little Rock,” an Amazon spokesperson said. “No reopening date has been identified.”
