Deadly 1 A.M. Gunfire Rocks South Broadway In South St. Louis

A man was killed early Monday in a shooting along South Broadway in south St. Louis, according to police. Officers responded to reports of gunfire at about 1 a.m. and found a man who had been shot. Detectives have opened a homicide investigation.

Police told KSDK that officers were called to the scene around 1 a.m. and confirmed the shooting was fatal. The victim’s name has not been released, and no arrests had been announced as of the station’s report.
