The Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a carjacking that occurred this morning at approximately 5:40 a.m. in the parking lot of Triangle #2.
The suspect is described as a light-skinned male, believed to be in his late teens to early twenties, with a black mustache and black eyebrows. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a dark-colored hoodie, white T-shirt, gray sweatpants, light-colored Crocs, and white socks. He was also carrying a black backpack.
According to reports, the suspect approached a male victim in the parking lot and forcibly took possession of the victim’s vehicle. The suspect then fled the scene in the stolen vehicle, traveling eastbound on Highway 58…
