Belmont bank robbery suspect arrested, police confirm

BELMONT, N.C. (WBTV) – Belmont police made an arrest after a bank was robbed Monday afternoon.

Rodney Samuel, of Shelby, was charged with common law robbery and communicating threats after allegedly taking money from the State Employees’ Credit Union on Wilkinson Boulevard. The robbery happened around 12:30 p.m. on Monday, March 30.
