LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders held a news conference Tuesday morning to make an announcement and recognize recipients of grants through the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage & Tourism.
Sanders announced the plan to implement the Maumelle Pinnacles Master Plan, which will connect 24,000 acres of park lands.

Once it is completed, Sanders said residents will be able to hike or bike the trail from downtown Little Rock, Pinnacle Mountain State Park, Rattlesnake Ridge, Blue Mountain, Lake Maumelle, and surrounding areas.
