MORRIS COUNTY, Texas — The Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corp. will build an 850-megawatt natural gas-based generation facility in East Texas.
The electric cooperative held a ceremonial groundbreaking for a facility in Morris County near Naples last week. Construction of the Naples Power Plant should begin this summer.
